{"id":14536,"date":"2023-11-08T18:58:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T18:58:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armanitalks.com\/?p=14536"},"modified":"2023-11-08T19:06:29","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T19:06:29","slug":"how-to-properly-hype-someone-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armanitalks.com\/how-to-properly-hype-someone-up\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Properly Hype Someone Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>How to Properly Hype Someone Up<\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I was once watching this show called Indian Matchmaking on Netflix and was immediately hooked.<\/p>\n<p>Around the end of the night, I like watching shows where I don&#8217;t have to think too much.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, I learn about psychology through reality dating shows.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Within the show, there was a matchmaker who was trying to introduce younger singles.<\/p>\n<p>There was one potential couple who stood out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The girl was an ambitious businesswoman who was having trouble with her dating life.<\/p>\n<p>She believed she came off too strong to other men.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The guy was a bit older and was stylish.<\/p>\n<p>He had the personality to woo this ambitious girl.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As I heard their conversations, I noticed something.<\/p>\n<p>It seemed like it was headed toward a dark path.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>The Slick Talker<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As I watched the show, I noticed this guy would have certain opinions&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Then he&#8217;d quickly switch his opinions as soon as the girl said something contrary.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like he was trying to camouflage himself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Most people don\u2019t like <a href=\"https:\/\/armanitalks.com\/fear-of-confrontation-read-this\/\">confrontation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So, it&#8217;s not unreasonable that he would slightly modify his opinion to avoid a standoff.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>That&#8217;s not what I&#8217;m talking about though&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It seemed deeper.<\/p>\n<p>It seemed more sinister.<\/p>\n<p>He kept saying what she wanted to hear.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The person I was watching the show with said:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Wow, look at the guy, he has so much game!&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But I saw it differently.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Game is when you are flirty with your <strong>authentic<\/strong> self.<\/p>\n<p>This guy was flirty with his <strong>inauthentic<\/strong> self.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s as if he didn&#8217;t really exist.<\/p>\n<p>He was putting on an act.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My gut reaction proved to be true.<\/p>\n<p>As time went by, he wasn&#8217;t really looking for a relationship.<\/p>\n<p>He was looking for exposure from TV.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Hyping is Not About Lying<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The reason I shared the story of this guy was to highlight that spitting game wasn\u2019t about lying.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;ll get you in a lot of trouble.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, hyping someone up is not about lying.<\/p>\n<p>That will make you a nice guy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/armanitalks.com\/the-difference-between-nice-and-kind-2\/\">difference between a nice guy and a kind guy<\/a> is the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A nice guy will say a real or fake message with a positive delivery.<\/li>\n<li>A kind guy will say a real message with a positive delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The nice guy is not hyping someone up.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s just doing some grade A ass-kissing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Think of the teacher&#8217;s pet.<\/p>\n<p>Or that coworker who always kisses the boss&#8217;s ass so he can get a promotion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These moves seem \u201cpositive\u201d from the outside.<\/p>\n<p>But if you view the nice guy\u2019s inner world, it&#8217;s self-serving.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What is Hyping Someone Up?<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content-asset videofit\"><iframe title=\"The Beloved Hype Man: How to Be a More Likeable Person\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/q-pz2qCOihc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hyping someone up is when you notice overlooked details about someone and magnify it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you know someone whose love language is words of affirmation, then you want to pay close attention to the rest of the post.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A hype man pretty much notices things and puts words to it.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s all.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I knew a hype man from a while back.<\/p>\n<p>He was actually a Twitter follower of mine.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He said:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;I find it very fascinating how you record a talk from beginning to end without any edits. That&#8217;s not easy to do.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>That comment made my entire week.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Recording a video in 1 take is difficult to do because it requires concentration, thinking on feet skills, strong posture, etc.<\/p>\n<p>However, most people don&#8217;t notice the difficulty levels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>This guy not only noticed it&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>He also put words on it.<\/li>\n<li>Then he made me aware.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These 3 steps require skill.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Notice What Others Don&#8217;t<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The reason a lot of pretty girls don&#8217;t view it as a big deal to be called pretty is because they hear it all the time.<\/p>\n<p>Others notice their beauty.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you\u2019re the 15th guy who is calling them pretty for the day, there\u2019s not much hype.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The hype would be if you notice how this pretty girl is <strong>always<\/strong> on time for events.<\/p>\n<p>Not only is she on time, but she&#8217;s 15 minutes early.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If you notice her remarkable ability to always show up early, put words to it, and make those words known to the pretty girl, that&#8217;s a hype.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Notice something throughout this post.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not talking about a loud guy who is jumping up and down.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lil Jon was a famous rapper in the 2000s.<\/p>\n<p>He was known for making crunk music popular.<\/p>\n<p>Music that made you want to get up and dance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lil Jon was viewed as the ultimate hype man.<\/p>\n<p>If you put him on a track, he would <strong>immediately<\/strong> make it a club anthem.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I love Lil Jon&#8217;s music.<\/p>\n<p>However, he did the \u2018hype man\u2019 phrase injustice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Many folks think they can&#8217;t be a hype man because they say:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;I&#8217;m just a lowkey kind of guy.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Good!<\/p>\n<p>Be lowkey then.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The hype man according to the ArmaniTalks brand is someone who notices things that others don\u2019t and brings awareness to it.<\/p>\n<p>If you can do that, then you are on the path to hyping others up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How to Be Loved<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever met someone who had the gift of making every conversation about them?<\/p>\n<p>You can be talking about your trip to Alaska&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And this dummy will interrupt you and talk about how he always wanted to go to Alaska.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Due to <strong>trying<\/strong> to be loved, they are ridiculed.<\/p>\n<p>While the opposite is also true.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The guy who isn&#8217;t stealing the spotlight and is hyping others up is more loved.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s because the hype man makes others feel bigger.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t let the tough guy persona fool you.<\/p>\n<p>Most humans are creatures who crave words of affirmation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Translation: They want a pat on the back.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And they especially want a pat on the back for things that others are completely overlooking.<\/p>\n<p>If you are the rare few who can notice what others aren\u2019t, put words to it, and make it known\u2026 then you&#8217;ll be loved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hype them up when you&#8217;re in the room.<\/p>\n<p>So they\u2019ll hype you up when you exit the room.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/Charisma King: https:\/\/gumroad.com\/l\/WdNVg\">For More Insights into Social Skills, be sure to check out the Charisma King eBook.<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u2013 ArmaniTalks\u00a0<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.0\/svg\/1f399.svg\" alt=\"\ud83c\udf99\ufe0f\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.0\/svg\/1f525.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udd25\" \/><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to Properly Hype Someone Up &nbsp; I was once watching this show called Indian Matchmaking on Netflix and was immediately hooked.
