Why Women Have a Hoe Phase After a Breakup
A “hoe phase” is when a person is highly promiscuous.
They are talking to, dating, or sleeping with multiple people in a short span.
People have hoe phases at different times in their life.
A lot of them have it right after a breakup.
‘Why do people have hoe phases right after a breakup, Armani?’
It could be for a couple of reasons.
Guys get with multiple women for different reasons than why women get with multiple men.
In this talk, we are going to focus on the women.
Reason 1: To Experience What Else is Out There
In 2014, there was a Chinese couple who came out with us.
These 2 looked like the Chinese Barbie and Ken.
The girl and guy had known each other for years.
I lived in Tampa and the 2 were from Orlando.
The 2 were holding hands all night.
The night was over, and they left.
I didn’t think much of it.
A few months went by and one of my buddies told me that the Chinese Barbie and Ken broke up.
I asked what happened??
My friend said that the girl felt like she had been with her guy for too long.
She wanted to experience life.
She was with this guy since she was an ugly duckling.
Now she was a grown woman.
She wanted to see what type of attention she could get from the current dating marketplace.
This is one reason girls have hoe phases…
They are tired of being in a relationship.
In their mind, they feel like they have been having the same meal for far too long.
Now they want to switch it up.
Reason #2: Get Revenge
A lot of girls have hoe phases right after a breakup because they want to hurt the guy.
Either the guy cheated on her or he began taking her for granted.
To get her revenge, she begins hooking up with multiple men right after the breakup.
This will often be shocking because the girl was a good girl prior to the relationship.
When the guy hears stories about her getting with multiple guys, he thinks:
‘She wasn’t like this before. Is this still the same person?’
Yep, it’s the same person with a different attitude.
She has the attitude of revenge.
She thinks that if her ex hears about how she’s desired by other men, then the ex will come running back.
However, that’s not what happens.
When a guy hears that his ex is a hoe, he thinks:
‘Geez, I dodged a bullet!’
If a girl really wants to hurt her ex, rather than hook up with multiple guys, just get with one.
If the girl just keeps getting with one guy (going to the movies, dinners, and formals), then the ex will think:
‘Oh no, she’s in love.’
The catch 21 is that she doesn’t even have to hook up with that one person…
She just needs to give the illusion that something is there.
If a guy finds out his girl had a hoe phase or is currently in the middle of one, he’ll feel disgust.
Sort of like if a girl finds out that her guy used to beat women.
She will feel a strong feeling of disgust in her stomach.
Reason #3: Bad Influence from Friends
No one markets as well as the single girl who is in the middle of a hoe phase:
‘Omg girlies, this is the best experience ever! Monday is for Chad, Tuesday is for Timmy, and Wednesday is for Michael.’
The promiscuous girl speaks with so much enthusiasm that the good girl from the group gets intrigued.
Then the promiscuous girl begins zoning in on the good girl.
‘So, Mary, who have you been getting with lately?’
When Mary says no one, her friends make fun of her.
‘Oh, I see…You’re not just Mary, you’re Virgin Mary!! Come on girlie, you need to have some fun!’
They equate “sleeping around” with “having fun.”
Mary begins to wonder if she’s living life properly.
She thinks she’s not taking enough risks and gets coaxed into having a hoe phase.
The Aftermath of Having a Hoe Phase
I don’t think sleeping around with a bunch of people is the smart thing to do.
Sex is an intense act and should be treated like one.
Also, I believe sex is different for men vs women.
For a man to get sex, he needs to show a ton of skill.
He needs charm, confidence, and consistency.
For a woman, getting sex requires 0 skill.
She just needs to be open to it.
So, after a man has sex with someone, he feels a feeling of accomplishment.
After a woman has sex with someone, she questions her judgment.
Afterward, she thinks:
‘Hm… did he really earn it?’
A lot of guys will switch up right after sex too.
That’s a lot of women’s #1 fear.
Right after she lets a guy hit, the guy gets aloof and begins texting other girls in front of her face.
I’m sure there are women who feel refreshed after having a good ole’ hoe phase.
But I believe tons of women feel guilty and ashamed.
They want to hide it.
Know this though…
Guys talk.
It doesn’t matter if you get up and move.
Eventually, word will get around.
Is The Story Over?
There are tons of different personalities out there.
Just because there are guys who will lose interest after finding out their wife had a hoe phase in her 20s, other guys don’t care at all.
In their mind, “the past is the past.”
This blog wasn’t meant to shame anyone.
It was meant to provide an analysis of why people behave the way they do.
This blog was formed from years of observation.
The top 3 reasons girls have hoe phases are because:
- To experience life.
- To get revenge.
- Or because their friend group convinced them that it was a good idea.
