Why Boss Babes Find It Difficult to Date

I never want to be someone who throws a certain gender under the bus.

That’s why I’m often critical of both men and women.

A while back, I gave a talk about why nice guys finish last, and the summary was that when you’re too nice, you’re operating with a logical mindset about how humans work.

But humans are not logical.

You can’t approach interactions with a transactional mindset.

The “nice guy” often thinks, Because I did A, I deserve B.

While this might work when ordering at McDonald’s, it doesn’t work with humans.

Ultimately, the nice guy loses, and this is a personality trait one shouldn’t aspire to.

But today, I want to shift the focus to the women’s side, to what I call the “boss babe.”

The boss babe shares similarities with the nice guy, in that they also struggle to navigate dating.

However, instead of being too nice, boss babes embody high ambition and drive.

While these qualities are excellent in a career, they can sometimes make dating challenging.

Let’s explore why boss babes often find it difficult to date and why they aren’t chased more often in the modern dating landscape.

The Pros of Being a Boss Babe

First, let’s acknowledge the many positive qualities that make boss babes successful in their careers.

They are highly ambitious and driven.

If I had a daughter, I’d want her to be a boss babe too, pursuing her goals fearlessly.

Ambition, for both men and women, is often born from pain.

When someone experiences pain, they run from it, and they run toward glory and success.

Boss babes have been hurt before, and they’ve channeled that hurt into setting grand goals.

Goals they can control.

This drive leads to discipline, continuous self-improvement, and greater career opportunities.

These are the attributes that make boss babes excel in the workplace.

If you’re hiring someone, you want a boss babe on your team because they are coachable, ambitious, and dedicated to growth.

Boss babes win because they are highly ambitious.

Why Boss Babes Struggle to Date

Despite their success, boss babes often struggle in the dating world.

One reason is that they frequently attract nice guys…men who crave leadership and structure in their lives.

Boss babes naturally provide that leadership, but they find these men unattractive.

There’s no polarity, no sexual chemistry.

The lack of masculine energy in these nice guys makes them repulsive to boss babes, who are often looking for something else.

What boss babes really want is a masculine man who can help them “turn their brain off.”

After being in leadership roles all day, they crave a partner who can take the lead.

Someone with even more ambition than them!

They want a man they can relax around, someone who makes them feel taken care of.

However, the type of masculine man they desire has his own set of preferences.

He wants a soft, feminine woman, someone who isn’t challenging him constantly.

Here lies the challenge for boss babes…

They find it difficult to soften up because their success is built on being strong, ambitious, and always in control.

But in relationships, this constant control can feel suffocating to a masculine man.

If a boss babe questions every decision he makes, he will eventually think, How am I supposed to lead you if you’re always questioning me?

And at that point, he will decide to find a softer, more feminine woman.

Boss Babes vs. Softer Women

Boss babes often look down on soft women, seeing them as lacking free will or blindly following men’s orders.

But this is a distorted view.

In reality, soft women know how to use their feminine energy to wield influence over masculine men.

If you’ve ever watched a cartoon where the Hulk is going on a rampage, smashing everything in his path, there’s always that one woman who steps in front of him.

She’s tiny compared to the Hulk.

Instead of running away, she uses her gentle nature to calm him down.

The Hulk stops smashing and becomes calm in her presence.

This feminine woman has a strength that even armies couldn’t wield.

She didn’t control the Hulk through force, but by letting go of control.

In the same way, soft women understand that by relinquishing control, they can actually gain influence over masculine men.

Boss babes, on the other hand, think that power only comes from controlling everything around them.

But they’re missing the point…

Sometimes, true power comes from knowing when to let go.

In the end, masculine men don’t want to be with masculine women.

This is where boss babes often struggle.

They bring the same qualities that make them successful in their careers into their romantic relationships.

But what works in the boardroom doesn’t necessarily work in the bedroom.
