Sleep Well
I used to sleep on my sleep.
Scraped a few hours a day.
Bad move.
Aim to get 7-8 hours.
I get it, not easy in today’s busy world.
But make it an effort, and your production & happiness will 🚀
Meditate
Meditation has changed my life forever.
I used to be this overthinking squirmy fuck.
But once you begin meditating routinely, life slows down.
Concentration improves.
Happiness improves.
Clarity improves.
I do 10 min when I wake up & 10 min before sleep.
Journal
Journaling is a game-changer.
I treat Twitter like a journal because I typically have my phone on me.
But you can do a Word Document or physical journal.
Just get your thoughts & feelings written.
Bonus: Do so every day and your writing skills will improve.
Visualize
Tbh, I don’t visualize like most people in silence.
If I’m visualizing, I better have some lit music.
Otherwise, it feels like work.
My visualization routine has me envisioning positives AND negatives.
If it’s a negative scenario I plan out my rise as well.
Do yoga
Seriously, do yoga.
And no, it’s not easy as many of you may think.
Yoga allows you to synchronize your mind, breath & body.
Very powerful.
I use the yoga routine from p90x3.
But try a few routines out yourself and see which one works best for you.
Financial literacy
‘I’m financially literate. My mommy said I was.
Ha.
Your mommy lied to you.
You are not just born financially literate.
Tame your ego.
Learn from books, ask questions to the right people, and become more curious.
Learn this language inside & out fam.
Have hobbies
Major key.
Life is going to kick your ass many times.
Make no mistake about that.
Your hobbies will always keep you grounded even in your dark times.
Have a hobby to keep you creative, one that makes you money & one that keeps you in shape.
Get sun
I’m not going to start giving you all these concepts on why the sun is good for you.
I just know ever since I have been going for a walk every day outdoors, my life has improved.
Go ahead and give it a try.
Leave your darkroom & Netflix binge session and get some sun.
Workout
Working out is not only good for you physically, but mentally as well.
‘Mentally??’
Yep.
Tbh, consistently showing dedication to your body is more mental than physical in my opinion.
Have a workout routine and stick to it.
Don’t be a bum.
Eat healthy
Put your twinkies & cup noodles away and take your fatass to the kitchen, homie.
Learn how to cook.
Do not be dependent on fast food.
Many view cooking as ‘work’ but not really.
Learn a few dishes and you will realize it is fun.
Recipes are everywhere online.
Drink water
Staying hydrated is very important.
Proper hydration will have you thinking clearly & efficiently.
However, do not overhydrate.
Drinking too much water is just as bad as not drinking enough water.
Use a water calculator online to find out your optimal level.
Have a social support system
Have friends & family you can count on.
We are social creatures by blood.
If you do not have a squad, go on and build one.
People are not going to just break into your house asking to be your friend.
Know when to work, know when to unwind.
Know when to rest
People think always working is a badge of honor.
Nah.
You need to rest.
Otherwise, you risk burning out.
You cannot run a smooth engine if it’s always running.
Learn to maintain it by resting intelligently.
This is my Cheatcode to a better life.
Take what works and ditch what doesn’t work for you.
